West Texas, Midland Basin

The Midland Basin is another area of interest located in West Texas where infield drilling holds reserves as much as 100,000-150,000 barrels of oil per well drilled. Third party data suggests that wells dated back to the late 1960’s came online producing thousands of barrels a month before technology was advanced enough to recover more of the reserve in place. Wells in this area are still producing today about $15,000 a month in revenue after 35 years.
